700 Classic No power

I have a 700 Classic that will not power on. Tried a brand new control board/fuse. Still will not power up. Yes, the outlet is live along with extension cord. Checked it by plugging in shop vac so I know cord/outlet is good. Thinking there may be a loose power wire or another in line fuse besides what is on board. Any help or history would be greatly appreciated!
