After my first few sessions years ago, I found grease dripping from the chimney cap onto my deck. After some thought, I unscrewed the cap and removed the two screws securing the chimney to the end of the grill. Then I inverted it and reinstalled the screws. The chimney now points down into the grease bucket which is slightly larger in diameter than the chimney. Since the pellet grill is basically a forced draft furnace, this doesn't seem to have any downside and I have a grease-spot-free deck. I'm also looking for a replacement drip pan for inside the grill but it seems that PB no longer makes one for the 820. I found one from another company but had to bend the right & left tabs a lot to get it to fit (poorly). If no one here has ideas, I'll have to go to my local sheet metal fab and have one custom-made.
