On my app, another grill is connected somehow and keeps sending me notifications. Apparently, we are both smoking today. His temp is 300, mine is 250. LOL. Anyone know how to fix this??

I have the same issue. Some dude called his Smoker pbv4ps2 "Luke's Smoker"

Looks like he was smoking a butt or brisket yesterday while I was doing ribs. Graph even shows his Temps and times.

No way he is on my network. I even have my pbv4ps2 on my iot network where it is isolated.

Anyway. Got a call into tech support, waiting for a call back.

Did you ever get this resolved?

I called tech support and they are sending me a new controller. If this is happening to you please report it.

I've been getting notifications of other smokers as well. I'm out running errands and I'm getting notified my smoker is heating up. But it's not even plugged in. I thought about messing with it but not sure what neighbor I'd be fu__in with

I was thinking about this. If my app is connecting to another grill when mines unplugged how is replacing my circuit board gunna fix that?
Good point. R U sure the app is using your Wi-Fi as opposed to some else’s who has perhaps a guest network?
But whether it’s Wi-Fi or Bluetooth wherever it is has to be close by. Bluetooth doesn’t reach that far and Wi-Fi maybe a farther range but not all that much. My Bluetooth range is maybe 25 yards or so. Wi-Fi without an extender maybe 50 yards.
