Augur not turning, blower comes on but not moving pellets

I have a PB700FB, it was a gift about 21/2 years old, worded fine until last week, it always has a cover over it, I started smoking a brisket at 220 it lit and started cooking. I went to check it and it was FLASHING 165 I powered it off and back on and it finished cooking. I went to use it again and set to SMOKE, the augur never turned on, the blower was working but never sent pellets to firebox. I vacumed the firebox out and attempted to run a stiff wire through the augur, HAVE NOT emptied the hopper.
Any ideas what my issue may be. support is no help at all.

I had the auger stop, turned out to be a shear pin / cotterpin at the gear box coupling.
