Can't get through to Customer Support

Cannot get through to customer support on either the 877 or 480 numbers. I registered at the Pit Boss website, and got a welcome email, and the email said to reply to the email with any questions (oddly, the reply-to address said "[email protected]" LOL - not promising). I had questions and replied, but no answer yet. The website says live chat is not available. Need some support from these guys! Anyone have any tips on how to get some response? Thanks
 
It must come and go, because right at this moment, Live Chat is available for me. Also, a few months back, when I was live chatting, I asked if the messenger option on Facebook went to the same group at Danson's as Live Chat, and the person said that was a different department. So maybe try that?
 
can't believe it - chat is suddenly working! after a week of it never being available. They must monitor this forum LOL . thanks!
 
No problem - glad you got through. Hopefully you get to chat with a live person. I've used chat 3-4 times. One time it said I was in the queue, but I never got a hold of anyone. The other times I got a live person within 5 minutes. Good luck!
 
I still cant get through my grill has low gas pressure
Jennifer, believe me, I feel your pain :( . It's weird (and, clearly, they're short handed) - for my first week of ownership, multiple attempts, zero luck getting them. Then - a few days ago - suddenly i was able to get thru. This is kind of ridiculous, but i had to "keep an eye" on the pitboss-grills.com web page - *at the bottom" - and wait/refresh until it stopped saying "Live Chat Unavailable." Chat agent was super helpful. On the same day, the phone number stopped saying "please call back later", and let me leave my phone number. I did both, the chat and the leaving of my number. Chat resolved my problem in the morning. Then in the late afternoon i finally got a call back - and told them it was resolved, but thanks for the callback. BTW the resolution to my dim screen is that they are going to send me a new control board. I bought it from walmart but they registered my product while I was online chatting with them, then honored the warranty (it was only a few weeks old). Is your grill new? Register for an account at pitboss-grills.com (if you havent already), and register your product there, too. If you can't find the product registraiton link, lmk, it took me a little hunting to find.

Interesting - that was the same issue with my Austin XL. The controller was on backorder when I talked with CS, but I received it within 2 weeks. Can't believe the difference in brightness. The CS person did tell me they had a bad batch of controllers with the same issue, so she wasn't surprised.
