Jennifer, believe me, I feel your pain
. It's weird (and, clearly, they're short handed) - for my first week of ownership, multiple attempts, zero luck getting them. Then - a few days ago - suddenly i was able to get thru. This is kind of ridiculous, but i had to "keep an eye" on the pitboss-grills.com web page - *at the bottom" - and wait/refresh until it stopped saying "Live Chat Unavailable." Chat agent was super helpful. On the same day, the phone number stopped saying "please call back later", and let me leave my phone number. I did both, the chat and the leaving of my number. Chat resolved my problem in the morning. Then in the late afternoon i finally got a call back - and told them it was resolved, but thanks for the callback. BTW the resolution to my dim screen is that they are going to send me a new control board. I bought it from walmart but they registered my product while I was online chatting with them, then honored the warranty (it was only a few weeks old). Is your grill new? Register for an account at pitboss-grills.com (if you havent already), and register your product there, too. If you can't find the product registraiton link, lmk, it took me a little hunting to find.
