Cleaning the grates

I was looking at grill grate cleaner etc. i cooked two racks of baby backs and the bbq sauce was hard and stuck on my grates. I decided to try a plastic storage container and some dawn dish soap 30 min of soaking and hit them with the pit boss soft touch brush it fell right off no grill cleaner for me dawn dish soap!! It really works great just an FYI

I just brush them off when their cold with a plastic bristle brush.

I purchased a large tub at TSC. Grates from my Louisiana BL1000 fit perfectly. I can soak them or just use as scrub pan. Mixing tub $21.99.
