Coating bubbled up on 6 month old Pro Series 1150

6 months old and I noticed it has bubbled and chipped away. Will it rust? Is this covered under warranty?

Unfortunately it is not covered under warranty. Mine did the same thing a couple of years ago. I sanded the area down then bought some high-temp grill spray paint and painted over it and have not had any issues since. You can find that high -temp spray paint at Walmart or Lowe's.
