Country Smoker motor runs when off

I’ve had my Country Smoker for about a year, and have not had any problems with it until now. After using it the last time, I turned it off and it shut down a few minutes later, as it normally does. The next morning, I found that the motor was running, even though the dial was off. I turned it on Smoke, and the motor shut off, but Err is displayed. How can I resolve this?

That’s why I unplug mine after it cools off
Try unplugging it and plug it back in

I always unplug my stuff.

Thanks for the responses. After unplugging and plugging back in, the Err display went away. In the future, I will unplug the smoker after each use.
