This is the damage straight out of the box. It seems to me it will act as an unnecessary point to lose heat/smoke. Am I just being too butthurt because I spent so much just to find damage, or is this bad enough to affect my smoking? Oh and I'm new here, hello everybody.

This is the damage straight out of the box. It seems to me it will act as an unnecessary point to lose heat/smoke. Am I just being too butthurt because I spent so much just to find damage, or is this bad enough to affect my smoking? Oh and I'm new here, hello everybody.
If it were me I would return the unit, as much of a pain in the rear that would be. it might be nothing but to spend money on something new and to have damage is unacceptable.

Just my 2 pennies but I had damage out of the box on my unit and customer service was very helpful in getting me new parts.

You are not being butthurt, you are just being a normal consumer that expects a working, undamaged product. Your funds were not damaged for the company.
