Does NOT ignite

I have A one year old pit boss pro series 1100 and it does not ignite. Checked the fuse and it seems fine any other ideas?

Have you looked at the igniter during initial smoke? My manual talks about watching it glow red at the beginning of the start up cycle.

The ignitor turns red except for that tip but now i dont Know if it ever did?

1. Maybe it needs cleaned or repositioned? When I was on the phone with a support rep from PitBoss, he told me that there was a correct amount of distance that the hot end was supposed to be in to the burn pot. I don't remember what he said, but if it still gets hot, then it should heat up your pellets.

2. This is a part that can be replaced. This is one of the first things that DuckDuckGo showed me for "pit boss ignitor". This file - https://www.tractorsupply.com/static/sites/TSC/downloads/ProdContentPDFs/1252828_Man1.pdf shows a 3-PH part.

3. You can start your pellet grill by hand. My owner's manual had a "manual start procedure" in it. That same manual has the automatic start procedure on page 17, in the section called "manual start-up procedure"

Use idea 3 until your new hot end is delivered and installed.
