I tried to use my PB440FB1 for the second time and it doesn’t work.
Yes to all the obvious fixes

Is this a quality product or did I get suckered

I’m going to call them tomorrow

I got my ribs ready and went out to plug the unit in.
Nothing at all. No lights
Removed the control panel and checked the fuse. It looks fine.
Plugged into different outlets just in case and …nothing.

Really disappointed. I’ve been dreaming of using this for three months.

Did you test the fuse?

Several things.
1) is the controller connected? Make sure grill is un plugged first. Take the bottom plate off and follow the wires from where the supply comes in and to the controller. Check to see if the white plug is firmly connected.
2) check the power button. Press on the power button. You should feel a positive "clicking" feel. There is 2 pieces of metal that need to touch together to close the "switch". It maybe stuck together.
3) fuse. You will need a multimeter (you can get one from your local hardware store) select continuity, put the leads in the meter and test either side of the fuse. If the screen goes from "OL" to some number then fuse is good. Google how to check it will walk you thru.
Remember to do all this unplugged. Safety first.
Good Luck hope this helps.

Also take the fuse out or may read continuity thru wiring.
