Don’t buy a Pitboss

The warranty seems like a good one, but it is not. I have replaced also many parts of the grill. And the piece by piece repair sucks. And will be replacing the motor AGAIN. My Austin XL is less than four years. Other companies are better and are highly recommended. buyer beware!! Never again!!
Tried to talk to a manager but would not transfer me.

Too bad you've had this experience. I've found my Lexington to operate nominally and to be an exceptional value. It's been really fun learning how to use it and optimize my cooks. However, I've not needed to contact the Mothership. I'd buy another in a heartbeat.

I’ve been lucky so far as well with my 1150…only thing I’ve replaced is the handle to open the plate to get the flames and that’s cause I lost the other one…lawn mower found it though lol

With everything there are bound to be a lemon or two .... sometimes we humans add to the issues. Hope you find what you are looking for and my 1100 luck continues.

One of mine is over 7 years old now. Only thing I replaced was the display. Other one now 5 years old and never had an issue with that one at all.

My smoker is 4 years old, and the only issue was a bad controller when it was new, no issues since.

Sorry about your issues with PB.
I bought PB Onyx Austin XL, added a front shelf and flame-tamer (4 window), and smoke tubes and absolutely love it. No negative experiences. I have never called customer service. I would buy PB all day long!

My PB 850 PRO has been running like a clock 4 years+ now and smoke at least once a week. Never an issue once. Sorry to hear your having issues. Was a Dodge truck owner for 40+ years, last one was a lemmon and traded it for a duramax and never an issue. Lemmons destroy loyal customers.

I own two over 3 years old. Navigator control doesn't want to work in cold weather is only complaint. Louisiana works in all weather conditions. Love both units. I have a friend that owns a Traeger two Pit boss a Bradley and green egg. He uses Pit Boss pellet grills most without problems. Sorry for your bad luck.
