Drippings not going into bucket

Alright not new to smoking but new to pellet grill smoking have a problem just purchased a brand new Pitboss 1250 Competition and smoked for 10 hours straight underneath my unit the oil sleeping out with the drippings are leaking out and I am getting none in. My drip bucket any suggestions

Sounds like the heat shield is not installed right. The right side should rest on the trough that leads to the drain bucket.

Yes, check the heat shield. It should be sloped toward the bucket. Make sure that the meat is not all the way forward or back because the grease can miss the heat shield and go to the barrel. The seals on the barrel may be leaking and the grease will run down the legs of the grill. I have had problems with the latter two now both fixed. Pit Boss sent me high temperature silicone sealer to seal the barrel.
