Common problem apparently. My Pitboss was tripping the GFCI. Unplugged other devices, no good. PitBoss help suggests checking to see if the igniter in the fire pit was too far in. So I opened it up, cleaned it out and the Igniter hadn't moved, no surprise there, but it did have some gunk on the end of it. I'd guess some of the turkey grease or something from Thanksgiving dripped down there and stuck on the igniter. cleaned it off, plugged it back in and didn't trip the circuit.
Much easier fix and super easy to check before you go looking for blown fuses inside the unit or replacing your whole igniter which would have been my next steps.
