I clean my grill before each use 99% of the time. I know it may sound much but I’m just wired that way. I am doing a whole chicken right now and I have gotten the ERH code two time. Both times I let the grill cool and start it back up. Fire box was empty when I first started it so there wasn’t too many pellets. I am cooking on 350* and temps are running close to 450*. Temp prob on smoker is clean. No grease in it to cause a fire. It is 90* here in NC right now with 4,000% humidity…any thoughts

It stays in the shade but I haven’t tried a fan. I put a fan on it about 15 min ago when I saw your response and it is already making a difference. Temp difference is down to 9* right now. Thank you for the quick response
