ErH error code

I just bought this smoker and assembled it. I went to do the burn off, plugged it in and pressed the blue button...the display showed error code Er H and started beeping. The error code is for overheating issue...the smoker hasn't even been turned on yet..how can it be overheating...thanks

Did you get if figured out? Unplug and restart?
Check wiring to see if something is loose...

Otherwise I would call support...

You could talk to where you bought it about swapping controller instead of doing it all over again....

The ErH may not be a problem with the controller but could be your temperature probe,which model of smoker did you buy if a vertical smoker like a Copperhead 7. Instead of calling PitBoss Customer Service go on Facebook to the PitBoss page and message th Customer Service from there I find I get a faster responce
