I got an ERL code after smoking a brisket at 250 for 8 or 9 hours.
Before this, I had brought my smoker (Austin XL) out for the first time in 4 months or so. I was getting ERL code errors after it was on for 10 or 15 minutes, so I vacuumed up all the sawdust at the bottom and cleaned the RTD probe with an alcohol wipe. I thought I was good to go but the ERL code came way later, when I was about done with my cook.
Any suggestions?
