When should the fans run? Auger fan runs while auger is moving then shuts off,how about other fan? When should it run?? Was given this smoker, it was said to not work?? I’m a rookie so I don’t know!!

What model do you have? My main fan runs the entire time, including the shutdown cycle. But I don't know if that's the case with all models. I would assume so.

Congrats on the free grill. My son also gave me his Austin XL when the auger jammed. Gave him a reason to by a new grill lol. Anyway, buy a new fan off Amazon. They're cheap. This one looks oem and has a 10% coupon to boot.
