Fan Issue

I have an Austin XL and my issue is the fan keeps turning off with the door closed and the fire goes out. I open the door and the fan kicks on and the flame starts back up. This is the second pit boss this has happened to. Any ideas on the issue?

Is it holding temperature is it cutting completely off?

Fan cuts off and it starts to loose temp. If I open the door the fan kick on and it come back to temp.

Check all of your connections
If those are good you may have a controller issue.

The lid on the pellet hopper or the main grill lid? It really shouldn't matter either way, but just curious.
