I called today to get a new fire pot for my KC Combo. I was told that the fire pot is no longer available. The Rep basically said well looks like you will have to buy a new unit. My unit is only 4 1/2 years old. My question is does anyone know if there are other suppliers like Traeger that sells something compatible? I hate to send this to the junk yard with the griddle side working perfectly. Any suggestions are appreciated!

You KC had a screen mesh at the bottom of the firepot.
You can replace it with a standard one and not have any issues. Be sure to take measurements and double check the fit.
You might want to try these folks.

It seems that, instead of pit boss representatives suggesting a new grill, they would offer an alternative for a 4 1/2 year old unit.

I need to replace the burn pot on my Lockhart and have found supposed replacements on Amazon. Not sure where the fan is, but with the amount of ash in the burn chamber after a cook, I assumed it was under the burn pot. If so, I wonder about heat distribution and ash buildup with the solid bottom pots.

The combustion fan is underneath the hopper.
