FIRE POT WITHOUT THE STUB

I have a Pit Boss PB1150PS2 and my fire pot is rusted out. All of the replacements I can find
have a stub welded on that holds the igniter. My fire pot just has an opening slot cut out of the pot where the igniter fits through. I bought my grill in 2020.

My vertical smoker did that once on a brisket smoke at 3 a.m. Found out later that morning there was a split second power failure. as I noticed my clock was 3 hrs out at 6 a.m. when i got up. My clock does this all the time on power failures. That coincide with the smoker. Smoker went into 180 degree hold temp mode. We caught this at 4 a.m. wondering as well what happened but figured it out at 6 a.m.
