For those that smoke over “12” hours, does your burn pot get full of ashes? And how do you deal with it if you need to smoke for more hours? Do you turn your smoker off and clean out the pot and then relight!

I've done many cooks anywhere from 12 -18 hours and never had my burn pot get full. I usually use Bear Mountain or Cookin pellets because they produce less ash.For those that smoke over “12” hours, does your burn pot get full of ashes? Same here as part of my post cook clean up.I have done 24 hr brisket with plenty of room .but one thing for sure I do empty it before every smoke as a precaution against the hopper fire issue
