How to protect glass from soot smoke?

You have to periodically clean it. Use a basic cleaner)degreaser. I have tried a few. This one works best
LA Awesome cleaner
Remove the door from the smoker. Lay it on a flat surface. I put mine down on an old work towel (a thick one). Then use your cleaner and let it soak in for a min and wipe away. I did noticed the bottle of LA Awesome says not to use full strength on glass but I have never had a problem doing that. Once it is clean again hang the door back on the smoker and let it run at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or so to burn off any cleaning chemicals.
