Got me a good deal on a eye of round roast

So I got me a good deal on a eye of round roast at the Sam's. I've never smoked one. I'm planning to smoke it like I did with a beef shoulder roast. Any other ideas or suggestions?

I love to smoke bottom rounds with Montreal steak seasoning and go to 135 degrees internal for a medium. Smoker at 250 degrees. Eye rounds may dry out fast so watch your internal temperature.

The more I read up on this cut of meat, the more concerned I was. Many call it the worst cut of meat! It's lean for sure, but I managed to not dry it up! Nice and tender, not jucy by any stretch of the imagination, but the mesquite smoke may have been a bit much. I'll do hickory next time. The stall lasted a frustrating little over 5 hours paper wrapped! In the end, it was worth the effort.
