Grill temperature Probe that feeds controller is so high out of calibration that when in shutdown mode, cooling fan will not shut off. Have to de-energize to reset.

When starting up cold, probe reads 204F before any ignition.

Thinking probe needs to be replaced under warranty. My 1100 is only 3 months old.

Exactly what it sounds like.
Check connection and clean the probe. Then call customer service.
Have a friend that bent/broke his temp probe. While removing his upper rack. He's a lefty so he was tilting down on the left side to remove. LoL

I have cleaned the probe once out of about 12 Cycles. Clean it today with no luck

Will remove and reinstall and see what happens.

Thanks for the advice

Removed probe. What a pain. Nylock Nuts, which is good, but had to use off-set phillips head to get fasteners out. took a while.

Cleaned up probe and restarted before installing back. Definitely a probe problem. As I moved the wires into the probe, temperature was scaling up and down all over the place. After moving around, finally got it to settle out to within 15F or outside temp.

Will contact customer service and get a new one ordered. At least I can use it over the holidays.

Thanks for the help.
