Hi all, just joined hoping to get some help. I’ve called out boss but due to covid 19 they’re super busy and I’m trying to cook tonight!

I have an 820D, and have a lot of burnback issues. Went to clean it per usual, and the green grounding wire connected to the front of the hopper feed popped off. I don’t know where it goes!

anyone who cookie point me to where this thing goes that would be amazing!!

cheers!

it goes on the terminal that has the ground icon next to it.
looks like a few horizontal lines.
if you get a better image of the board straight on, it should be visible.

We can not find that icon anywhere. We called pitboss and they told us we had to order a new control panel. We did and of course there is not a ground wire attached.

I’m having the same issue. Did you ever figure out the answer?

Hey guys, I see that I'm resurrecting a dead thread. Hopefully Branderico, halemhester, and Hedgesend have figured this out by now, but for those of you who found this thread while looking for a solution to the same problem, the grounding wire attaches to one of the four mounting screws for the fan.
