New Pit Boss owner. New to pellet Somker. For my first cook I made some 2 1 1 baby back last night at temp 250. To me coming from stick burner it seem that the grill Produces very little somke. Pellets did not seem to have moisture. But I'll tell you got to love the easy of use.
 
Welcome @Aldo05 - That's been a common complaint on some models. I recommend adding a pellet tube if you are looking for additional smoke flavor. Something like this:

Also pellets can make a huge difference! I would definitely experiment with different brands/flavors.
Mixing wood chips and pellets in smoke tube really helps.
 
Congrats and welcome !!! all good advice and tips, I have a wife that does not like heavily smoked food so the smoke flavor produced by my 1600 is perfect ,gives me what I need and makes her happy !! I have been EXPERIMENTING with different brands and flavors and seem to have settled on a home made blend we like 5o% apple 50% pecan. and of course the magic temp of around 225 seems to produce adequate smoke.
