So i just fired up my copperhead 7 after cleaning it out good and it put out more smoke then ive ever seen . Gets to about 100 degrees and pop mini explosion and the door pops open .
Cool clean and retry and same deal right at 100 degrees pop.

Here i sit with 3 pork buts 3 racks ribs and wings for the big game

Update

After everything cooled down for the second time which took a bit because of the flames left in the fire pot. I noticed a ring of wet dust that had to have been wet pellets in the auger that popped when hit the heat and caused the mini explosion. From the moisture.
