How to remove pellets from Table Top Grill?

I have used it 4 times and have vacuumed out the ash every time but I am noticing smoke coming out of the grill side of the hopper box for the first time ever and when I open the pellet door, the chamber is filled with smoke with my pellets. Should I remove all the pellets and vacuum it out? If so, I know some models have a release to get the unused pellets out. I have the small table top model and don't see a way of doing this.

I just purchased the tabletop 150PPS and was wondering the same thing?
How the heck do you empty the hopper short of tipping the darn thing upside down and shaking the hell out it!

Shop Vac works, empty the Shop Vac so you can reuse the pellets
