Ignitor won't work, even after replacement

My ignitor stopped working so I ordered a new one and replaced it. However, the new one doesn't work either. I hooked the old one to a voltage meter and it is getting power so now I'm suspicious that the problem may be elsewhere. I am not getting an error message on the control board, it just indicates 70 degrees on the smoke setting for startup and the fan and auger are operating. As far as I can tell there are no loose wires on the control board.

Ya, contacted Pitboss support and they think it is a control board problem. Will probably upgrade to a better control board while I'm at it.

If you know somebody that owns a rec tec? Now would be a good time to go see them to show you their grill. Pic of the serial will let you buy one

Just installed new control board. Bought the upgraded model and it works beautifully. Bluetooth equipped and it is miles more functional than the old one. Looks like problem is solved.
