I created and operated a roadside BBQ business in Brattleboro, VT. My wife and I ran the business for about 7 years. We offered Memphis-style pulled pork sandwiches along with brisket, pulled chicken sandwiches, and ribs. After living in Vermont for 45 years, we moved to Kingston, MA (next to Plymouth) to be closer to our family. I have owned two offset smoker here in MA. The last one was an Oklahoma Joes. I'm 83 years old and aging has caught up with me and I have had a hard time keeping up with the stick burner. I invested in the Pit Boss Pro Series 1600 Elite PSE. It arrived about an hour ago. I'm anxious to do the burn off and seasoning. Watching a lot of YouTube videos. Going to go with Lumberjack pellets for my first cook.

Welcome to the party from NorCal. I HAVE the 1600. I really like it. I really like the 3 shelves, but honestly, I usually only use the middle one. Feel free to send us pics of your projects. Good luck & happy Smokin’! 🍻
