I bought my 700T from Tractor Supply in 04/23. I did a large chuck roast two weeks ago with no problems.
Saturday I decided to sausages.
The grill lit fine, came to temp, but when I touched the lid handle I got a shock. I pulled my hand back and touched it again, no shock.
I put the sausages on and, about 5 minutes later, the fuse blew.
Today I put in a new fuse that blew as soon as I plugged it in.
Second new fuse blew after about 5 minutes.
Third fuse the grill was set to smoke, but kept heating. There was a large flame in the pit and temp climbed to 500 before I turned it off.
The auger kept feeding pellets so I emptied the hopper.
An hour later the auger was still running.

Welcome from Texas to the group!!
You have a direct short in the harness. Probably got the controller as well 🇺🇸🇨🇱

Thanks for all of the responses.
Happy to be here, but not happy about the reason 😁
Gotta admit that I was pleasantly surprised with Pit Boss customer service.
No hassles, delays, or excessive hold times.
Described what happened and uploaded my proof of purchase.
The agent said it sounded like my ignitor went bad and fried something on the control board so they are sending me a new ignitor and a new board.
