So, are we allowed to post our experience with Pitboss customer support? Because my message about how they treated me with the Laredo 1000 was deleted shortly after I posted it. Every bit of it was true. According to them, 45-60 minutes to heat the Laredo 1000 to 350 degrees is totally normal, and they can’t help me. Even though one of the techs said it is not normal, and has an issue. There was nothing bad in my post. Nothing at all. Every bit of that conversation happened. Yet, it was promptly deleted, pretty much proving my point.

If you don’t want anything else to do with pitboss then why are you posting a comment?

Because I spent $547 on a grill that works terrible, tried to follow the steps of getting some help, and was pretty much told sorry, that’s the way it is. I thought maybe the right person from Pitboss may have saw the message and responded with some help. Won’t happen when it gets deleted. You obviously read and deleted my message. Would you have appreciated that kind of “customer service”? Did it sound to you like I should be happy with that? Better yet, would you be cool with spending $547 on something that is pretty much unusable? I will not but another Pitboss grill, but I certainly will not go away about it.

I also has a laredo 1000 and it took a similar amout of time to normally get up to temp however i have found a very simple trick to get it to heat up quicker. When the grill is cold take a handful of pellets and put them directly into the fire pot that way it dosen't have to load them from the hopper. I agree it shouldnt have to.be done but it is a simple trick and it also makes you keep things clean. Ive been having different issues i will post on its own. Good luck
