G'day Smokers,

Has anyone had issues with their latches on the Pit Boss Electric verticals?

Mine is now just slipping off, not matter what I do. I have tried to adjust it, but do not want to do too much to it, as I don't want the local Bunnings store say it was my fault when I return it.

I had to use one of my kayak tie downs to keep the door closed.

Search "latch". Amazon sells a variety of latches that may be a better design.

Hi Smokers,
Thanks for the feedback. I have taken the 3 series back, and have ordered the 4 Pro. I nearly went for a wood smoker, however, I love what the vertical electrics can deliver, the consistency of the temperature, the fact that it can be wheeled into the smallest of spaces, and be able to almost use in doors, well the alfresco. About 10 days away, but will be sure to get back online with some mighty meaty pictures.

I got up at 1am here this morning to watch the F1 Qualifying, actually re-watching right now. I just realized how large a land mass Australia is!!!, 3200 clicks to Melbourne. 400,000 spectators are there for qualifying, are you the guy with the Red Bull jacket on waving? LOL
16 hours to Green Flag!
