Meat probe for vertical smoker

I run mine in the door all six of them a port would be nice

it would be nice to have a port inside for a probe but on my PB4 it gos between the seal and the door

I drilled a 3/4" hole in plenumarea of my stick burner. A small piece of foil makes a nice stopper.

I'll probably drill a port in my PBV5 soon. I'm pretty sure it is double walled so I will use a 1.1/8" hole saw. This will allow me to insert a 1" close nipple and use conduit nuts and some RTV to dress it up.

On my PBV5 COMP I am disappointed with the controller location. I'm working on some kinda flap or shield, I am too too messy for it being located below the door.
