i have a 1150 pro series that i used twice. about 5 hours into the cooking session i got a readout that says auger malfunction now when i start it the auger and fan stop seconds after turning on. i have replaced the controller but still does the same thing. unplug then plug back up, hit start and fan and auger comes on then stops after a few seconds even while holding down prime button. the auger light goes out but fan light stays on but motor just stops. the auger is not jammed either. do not get the AUGER MALFUNCTION readout anymore though. Any suggestions. Thanks

Sounds like your still having controller issues
I have been reading that pitboss is having issues with the controller

Same issue. Still waiting. They sent me a new fan motor and everything. Runs for a few seconds and then stops and says fan malfunctioning.

Check all your connections and make sure they’re connected to the right wire.
