My new Pit Boss Savannah from Walmart

I just bought a new Savannah pellet grill from Walmart and everything went as advertised. The break-in went great and I'm now 6 hours in to smoking three large pork butts and this Grill is just working like a charm. I've got it set at $225° and the P setting is set at four. The temperature so far is hovering just 5° above and below 225. Happy so far.

Welcome. Glad your first cook is going well. Just a heads up - if you have it set for a certain temp, the P setting doesn't matter. That only works on Smoke mode.

Three pork butts? That sounds like a pretty big party.

Welcome. There’s definitely a learning curve if you’re used to using a charcoal smoker. It’s definitely a lot easier also. I’m new to pellet smoking also. But I can’t keep them from falling out of end of the paper.
