Hopefully someone can give me a hand. I have been without my grill for a while due to my own stupidity.
So, I want to keep my grill in "like new" condition. I was having the "Err" on my Pit Boss Laredo Platinum that I purchased, so I figured it just needed a good cleaning. When I got in there I noticed a fair amount of buildup on the Firepot and igniter, so I decide I will just order a couple of new ones. I jump on the site and order, they come in and replace my burn pot and igniter.
Like an idiot, I didn't notice that the Firepot I ordered was not for the right model, even though I checked myself a hundred times. Of course I threw out the old igniter and burn pot before I realized my mistake.
So, Pit Boss put in an order for another igniter that they said would fix the Err problem, and even replaced my burn pot with the correct one. They have been fantastic - but, that burn pot has been on backorder for ever at this point. It was totally my goof up, so I don't mind buying a new one.
Does anyone know where I can get the correct burn pot for my grill? I have checked every grill site on the Internet, and searched Amazon every which way. I've contacted some of the companies that make their own stuff and begged for them to make me a pot with no luck.
So - Christmas is on its way and the whole family is coming to our house. I've got big plans for that smoker, but at this point I'm debating on getting in trouble with my wife and buying another grill and giving mine to the son or daughter when the pot does come in. I have to do that, but I'm desperate.
Anyone know of a site that has the parts for the Laredo grills?
