My PB series 2 vertical gas

I was trying to season my vertical and it wouldn’t get above 250 degrees, any ideas or tips?

Could be a bad ignitor. Call Pit Boss customer support and they can assist.

Don't trust the thermometer that comes with the unit, use a digital probe. I think you'll find it gets a lot hotter. My temp guage is out by over 50F low.

I think something is wrong with gas regulator, no matter how tight I crank it on the tank the regulator is loose, so I don’t think I’m getting proper gas pressure. My Thermo pro had peak temp at 229 degrees
