Happy Saturday everyone,
So hoping I didn't make a huge mistake, but picked up a used KC Combo last week for $200. Tested everything and it all worked, but didn't dive in too deep in the lowes parking lot and took the chance.
Bright home and began to clean it up and noticed the burner tubes were rusted and all were cracked towards the back (probably from moving it). One of the burners was rusted to bag and actually crumbled, but the other two are solid other than the little cracks.
I tried looking for the 19.5" gives to just replace them and ask I come up with are ones for Weber Grills with the gas holes aiming up instead of from the sides. Not sure if it makes much of a difference at this point, but wanted to see if anyone knew where to get those replacements?
I tried pit boss' website and there are no gas tubes listed, and it seems most pit boss grills are in the 17.5" tubes!
I have never smoked anything and want to get into this. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
