Purchase from Lowe's 12 /23 /22.
Now 1/15/23 used 5 times !! Temperature reading has always been about 12° off Checked with 3 different thermometers.. Go to light it to make Burgers. No light no heat I'm over it!! JUNK!

First question I have is how often do you clean it?
Secondly do you clean the temperature sensor?
If you’ve done these steps then your controller is bad
Mine went out after initial burn off.
Had a neighbor ready to throw his in the garbage truck until I looked at it and got it going.

temp reading 12 degrees off? Not bad really! Nothing turns on? Check your GFI outlet or where the outlet your using is connected to. I have an outside outlet I use but the GFI breaker is the one in the upstairs bathroom for some reason. Also use the shortest, fattest extension cord you need. Inside the unit I think, is a fuse. Contact them or look it up and see if it has one. I would not give up on this unit. Things can be replaced!

Mine wouldnt light and the temp was off 250 degrees the other day...
