New Pit Boss 850 Competition Series owner

I finished assembly this morning and I am burning it in as we speak. I have read the instructions about the P button and understand it's function. I don't seem to be able to figure out how to actually change the setting. I see nothing on the display that indicates what it is set on. All that happens when I push the P button is a temp chance from Fahrenheit to Celsius.

I did a google search on changing the P setting but all that came up are Pro series controllers and they display the current P setting.

Any help would be appreciated.

Mine shows up on the top of the screen
I keep mine on 4

Yes I read that section in the manual that came with the smoker. The problem is there is nothing on the display that indicates what the P setting is. I smoked a rack of spare ribs (they turned out great) after the burn in and the unit ran fine in the 30 deg weather today. I am wondering if the Competition Controller adjusts automatically. I will call customer service tomorrow and try to get further clarification on what should be displayed.

I put my unit on the lowest temp SP, then press the "P"-SET button, then the value shows on the display and can be adjusted. At least that's how it works on my Lexington.
