New smoker start up issue

New pit boss I’ve used it a few times just turned it on today it was running ok and then it said ER on the screen.

I restarted it, it did not get hot and now the app says start up malfunction.

Any recommendations??

Forgot to add the model is PBV4PS2

Unplug it for a few minutes then start back. Clean the temp probe also.

Erl is a low temperature error code
Clean it and see what you get

Check your connections
It could be the controller
They had issues in the past.

If the fan is running and it doesn't get hot, either it's not getting pellets or the igniter is bad. My money is on a bad igniter. You can get one cheap and fast from Amazon, or call Pit Boss customer service and let them have at it.
