I just bought the 1100 pellet and gas combo and I can’t seem to figure a couple things out, hopefully you pros can help me.
I’ve set the temp at 200, it is currently running at 223 and holding? Also, I can only adjust the temp in 50 degree increments?
I am using PB brand “competition blend”. I don’t notice any pleasing smokeyness, really it just smells like a campfire. I owned a Green Egg for many years so I’m confused, is there really that much of a difference with pellets?
clearly I have a lot to learn, I don’t think the manual is very helpful. It tells you what things are but not how to use them. IE, smoke stack, smoke control.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
