No smoke

Just bought a Austin xl pitboss and it starts just fine heats up just fine but no smoke on smoke setting is there some kind of setting that I didn't see because iv got a smoker that dosnt smoke dose anyone have any suggestions for me

If your using the p setting it should smoke. I use a smoke tube with pellets and wood chips
Could be a controller issue
