I have the 1600 from Lowe's and am getting frustrated with trying to cook in cooler temps. It doesn't seem to feed pellets fast enough to heat up to even 250. Anyone else having this issue?

Welcome from Texas to the group !
I’d suggest you getting a blanket for your grill since you live up north. It’ll help it with the temperature
Also try to keep it out of the wind if you’re dealing with that
Amazon has them. You can also up the temperature settings
Hopefully this helps you 🇨🇱🇺🇸

I just purchased a blanket, plan to use it Saturday morning, see my post and will update. Also I have done as suggested, turn the temperature higher than required then once reached turn down until the desired temperature is maintained. In the end that setting may be higher but that may be what is needed to compensate and maintain the desired temp ?

Turn it up to 450 and the fan speed will double. Turn the temperature back down when you reach the desired temperature. I don't know if it will hold that temp, but I recently had to deal with the same issue when I wanted to quick cook some pork tenderloins at 425. PB simply could not get above 400 nearly an hour later. Got fed up, raised the temperature. Only then would the fan speed up and the temp came up - FINALLY!
ON EDIT. Too bad they didn't include a fan speed controller on the control panel.
