Does anyone know if the thermometer for the smoker can be calibrated? Mine is 30-50 off from controller. I have the Pitboss vertical v4 s2 from Lowes. Also the controller goes by 10 but seen others that go by 5 degrees. Thanks in advance.

If you mean the meat probe thermometer I am not aware of any calibration process. Aside from that, for me, the compartment reading probe built into the corner there, never really matches what's actually going on inside. This I've verified by the use of standard over thermometers that I use regularly. My latest smoke was set for 240, read between 200 and 210, but based on the oven thermometers, the inside was actually in the 220 - 230 range.Does anyone know if the thermometer for the smoker can be calibrated?
