Just here giving props to Pit Boss. This past Sunday my PBV3P1 burst into flames...I saved the roast. The only real damage was my bronze top, which is no longer bronze. Everything else works, regardless of the flames completely engulfing the inside, and out the top. Remember folks, keep that water pan full. I smoked a pork butt, and then a chuck roast for chili, and forgot to check the water pan in between...won't happen again!
