PBV4PS2 Cold Smoke

I’m thinking about adding a Smokin It Bella Cold Smoke Generator to my smoker.

Has anyone done this type of mod before? It requires drilling a 3/4 hole in the side of the smoker. Wondering where the best place to drill would be. I was thinking same side as the controller towards the front and below the heat deflector.

Any thoughts?

I have the same smoker. I'm thinking of cold smoking cheese with a tube. Anyone try it?

I've read that people have been very successful using the tube or tray in this unit.
