So far the smoker has been good but today I noticed my racks barely fit on the slots . One rack actually fell when I put the pork shoulder on it. Seems like the racks need to be tighter? Anyone else see this?

I don't have that issue at all, all my racks fit very snug into it

Same with my racks, their nice and tight.
I would call Pit Boss Tech Support 877-303-3134 option 2, maybe your racks were mispackaged and their for another smoker.

Does your drip pan or water pan do the same? My racks are the same size and fit the same way, very snug. If the racks are smaller than those maybe it is the wrong ones

I found the one side of my smoker was bowed in. Had to get a small pry bar in the vent slots and pull it out a bit to make the racks fit better. Water tray was extremely tight and had to adjust that as well.
